RIP JOSH WISE

Police have identified a 21-year-old motorcyclist who died late Wednesday after crashing into two oncoming vehicles as Joshua Wise.

Wise was speeding east on Guadalupe Road from Carriage Lane on his Kawasaki ZX10R motorcycle about 8 p.m. when he collided with a Dodge Stratus that was preparing to make a left turn onto El Dorado from westbound Guadalupe Road, police said.

The motorcycle then continued east and went into oncoming westbound traffic and collided into the front of a large delivery truck. The passenger of the truck suffered a fractured leg.

Police said speed was likely a factor in the crash. Officers do not believe the man was impaired.
The investigation is ongoing.

Josh saved lives.
His passing has made us all much more aware of how dangerous bikes can be
And of how short life can be.
We’ll be responsible.
We’ll ride safe.
Josh saved lives.
And this makes sense to me. Josh was a military man.
And what do military men do…give their lives so that others may live.
