….I’ll say this; this country has prospered indeed since its inception, but let me ask you this, who prospered with it. Not the slaves who picked cotton, to ensure their masters crops were in before the winter freeze, thus ensuring the master would be able to buy food for his family, and possibly purchase more slaves to aid in his efforts, or better yet, possibly by more fertile land. Or perhaps it was the Chinese immigrants, note they are called immigrants not slaves, yet were treated almost the same, who laid the rails from the east to the west allowing businesses, and families to prosper from the rich undiscovered lands of the western Americas. No of course they didn\u2019t it had to be the Native Americans, surely without out their enthusiastic giving of 95% of their land, yes they were her before anyone else, so based on the old English ways of I claim this land in the name of\u2026., well too bad it was already claimed. Back to my point, the civil rights movements was 30 years ago, and a attempt to rectify, and claim justice to a period in American history over 200 years ago. Yes the time has passed, however social conditioning by grand fathers, of great grand fathers of long ago, keeps those same principles alive today. I\u2019m not going to say racisms doesn\u2019t exist or that it is running rampant, but the fact remains it is just as relevant now as it was then. The only difference is that now it is hidden in a manner that makes it oblivious to the everyday person. Which is truly sad, a child is not born to hate, they are taught it. As for the anarchist bit, I agree to an extent, but if anarchy is the only means to rectify a government that has shown it\u2019s corruption down from the Commander in Chief to your local school board, with all professions tainted between them, then perhaps another revolution is in need.<\/p>\n
…You gets no props, simply because your bitching about people who bitch, therefore bitching about yourself, and no the cause of other bitching is irrelevant, the fact remains your bitching about the bitching, not making a statement about their bitching. If you really think about it can get a little confusing. The other reason being the Civil Rights movements is not something that started with Martin Luther Kings \u201c I Have a Dream Speech\u201d or the Watts Riots, it has been a movement that has been progressing since the 1700\u2019s, most believe otherwise, simply because most History books, portray it do be as such. And last if you believe that only 15% of the government is corrupt I hope whatever your smoking is as green as your background.<\/p>\n
