{"id":332,"date":"2007-07-09T19:22:46","date_gmt":"2007-07-10T02:22:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/djmgyx.net\/WP\/?p=332"},"modified":"2007-07-27T17:13:23","modified_gmt":"2007-07-28T00:13:23","slug":"weekend-recovery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/djmgyx.net\/WP\/thoughts\/weekend-recovery","title":{"rendered":"Weekend Recovery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I spent the majority of this weekend at the casa recovering, unfortunately not from drinking which I had whole heartedly planned on doing, but alas a simple click of a button in haste inadvertently trashed <a href=\"http:\/\/djmgyx.net\/WP\/gallery2\/main.php\">my Gallery<\/a>. So come Saturday morning I spent the majority of the time debating whether to wipe out <a href=\"http:\/\/gallery.menalto.com\/\">Gallery2<\/a> and move onto some new Photo Gallery or pound through a reinstall. Well I ended up doing both.<\/p>\n<p>I first renamed the Gallery folder in the mist of deleting it just in case, something went horribly and then went looking for something new. I had 2 possibility in line 1st was <a href=\"http:\/\/alexrabe.boelinger.com\/?page_id=80\">NextGen<\/a> and the other was <a href=\"http:\/\/johannes.jarolim.com\/yapb\/\">YAPB<\/a>, needless to say since your reading this you can guess the results, but I&#8217;ll give the condensed version.<\/p>\n<p>Tried install <a href=\"http:\/\/alexrabe.boelinger.com\/?page_id=80\">NextGen<\/a>, realized it was an extreme pain in the ass, even though it has some wicked features- getting them all to work even hosed my <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/\">WordPress<\/a> install and forced me to deactivate all my plug-ins to find out what was conflicting. Ditched everything, cleared off all the neglected and unused databases.backed up the remaining albums and cleared out <a href=\"http:\/\/gallery.menalto.com\/\">Gallery2<\/a>, didn&#8217;t even bother trying to use the <a href=\"http:\/\/johannes.jarolim.com\/yapb\/\">YAPB<\/a>, and have been configuring the shit out of everything since, yeah 3 days now.<\/p>\n<p>Am I having fun not really, thought I did take a lil break to wash <a href=\"http:\/\/djmgyx.net\/WP\/gallery2\/v\/Rydas+and+Rydes\/Juggernaut\/\">Juggy<\/a> and clean the majority of the grime of the swing arm finally.<\/p>\n<p>And finally I have to go back through all the old posts and update the links to pics and galleries, as well as I still have well over 1000 pics left to upload.
