It\u2019s less than 10 days till Christmas and I\u2019m still not feeling even remotely like being in the Christmas spirit. Apparently my brother is since out of the blue he called and asked me if I wanted some tickets to go to the UofA vs. ASU game in January. Which is cool and all, but I\u2019m a little apprehensive since the last game he said he hooked me up with by putting me on the will call list failed horribly. Me and my friend ended up watching it on a multitude a bar TV\u2019s as we passed by the various establishments as we walked back to his apt empty handed. Hopefully this time won\u2019t be has bad.<\/p>\n
So I\u2019m feeling a little scroogish, but not in the way that classic scrooge way of being mean to other people, just in a \u201cI\u2019m not feeling the happy joyous warm fuzzy feeling that most of the rest of the world is partaking in feeling\u201d. But even though I\u2019m resisting the urge to simply clamor away in my own lil hole of darkness, and indulge in a myriad of contemplation ranging from the existence of God, to why a package sent by land is called and shipment whereas a package sent by ship is called cargo. None the less I\u2019ve decided tomorrow I will go pick up some gifts for those few and far between individuals in my life. After which I will be free to pursue my contemplations and analytical dissections.<\/p>\n
Actually I need to find out how muchI can get a rental for, so when I have some reliable transportation over the holidays. Normally I would just catch ride with one of my friends who still has family there but, I\u2019m uncertain if any are going and will be coming back in time for me to still go to work.I really don\u2019t like depending on someone else for a ride to and from their especially since for the most part I don\u2019t like being around happy cheery people especially when I\u2019m not. I also don\u2019t like it because I\u2019m not in control, so if I see a nice desolate snow covered field I can\u2019t just pull over and sit and enjoy it\u2019s peacefulness. I\u2019m a little hesitant about renting a 4\u00d74 again since the last one had shitty tires for whereI was going, but then again, it still got me there. I think this time I may try and get a convertible, which I\u2019m sure most of you re thinking why the hell would I want a convertible in the snow.To be honest I don\u2019t but the fastest cars they have are all convertibles, so I\u2019ll have to accept it. Now that I type this out more I think I\u2019m definitely going to just get a sports car, I haven\u2019t been on my midnight drive in quite some time, though I wish I had my old car back I never did get to see if it could handle it. Wow I just visualized that drive at midnight, in the snow, with some patches of ice, and blood is churning just from the thought, damn I can\u2019t wait. I guess it\u2019s pretty pathetic to think that something like that is the only thing to get excited about this time of year.<\/p>\n
Okay I just got back form lunch at work and there\u2019s now 17 people in queue. I\u2019m cringing at the number of graduate studetn who will refuse to acknowledge that AOL sucks and that is why they can not surf to our site. It\u2019s going to be a long night.<\/p>\n
What\u2019s shittier is that the whole free email posting feature seems to have failed after the 1st posting. I wrote this over 3hrs ago and none of my email accounts are submiting it. I guess the free trial only gives you one shot at it.<\/p>\n
