For a good 6-7 Minutes it was a like a worst case scenario for Need For Speed. It was really over before it began.

He saw me doing 110… I saw him hiding in the median, and tried to slow down…he didn’t fall for it and flipped on his headlights…the 10 second decision to fight or flight seemed to take forever…I saw the lights begin to edge onto the highway… berries went on…decision made..down shifted to 3rd…saw cars pulling to the right…dipped across 4 lanes of traffic…shift up…check the mirrors…keep the cars between us in his line of sight…find an exit…..WTF no exits…shift back down peg it…shift up… increase the distant…check the mirror…still back there and coming closer..find some cars….WTF who make an off ramp with no on ramp…that’s that bullshit…too much vibration…tuck more…hmm dropped a size apparently….re contemplate this whole thing… check the mirrors…see the spot light…dig in…still no exit… find a group cars to hide in or in front of….blend in..check the mirrors…berries are zig zagging…finally a damn exit…

…more cars…split em…plan it out see the variables…wait for it…brake hard turn smooth…keep the torque up…accelerate out of the turn…find another exit……NOW…Split the gray haired lady and the truck…scan the exit for berries…down shift…check the mirrors…berries still there and moving to right more…spotted..down shift…gas it…check the intersection…CLEAR…GO!!!…lean with it…scan for an exit…Southern…not the best but it’ll do…2nd gear ride it out…3rd gear…ride it out…damn lights…no cameras…no cops…GO!!!
