The 32nd on the 23rd

Okay I know it’s been a minute since the last update so I’ll recap some of the events leading up to last night lil Groove Candy event. What’s groove Candy you ask? Groove Candy is a night for ‘REAL people who dig REAL music’. All night DJ M2 drops ‘ear candy’ such as Neo Soul, Smooth Grooves, and Classic Hip Hop from The Roots and Common to Erykah Badu and Goapele.

Hosted by the lovely Karlie Hustle from Power 98.3. Representin dusty grooves while keeping microphone yammering to a minimum, with the bare essentials like thanking people for coming out, birthday shout outs like last night, and the occasional “get yo asses on the floor”

Anyway still workin on fine tuning the site, without adding to much clutter. Finally got the Gallery dialed in and the RSS feeds for the most part working correctly and now I need to do is go thru the old posts to redo the image links to get rid of all the broken pics.Not much has transpired since the last update, other than discussion of our lil group of riders either joining our starting our own bike club. But for the most part it’s been relaxing with the occasional day ride and impulse club nights.

For the most part however it seems we’re in the process of having a spot to go to every night.

Monday – The Loft in Tempe
Tuesdays – Draft House
Wednesday – Groove Candy at The Door
Thursdays – Rough Ryders Steak Night/Draft House
Friday – Red Fish (Not anymore)
Saturdays – Red Fish/Jilly’s/Greek/Draft House – basically whatever anyones feeling
Sunday – The Waterfront

So normally I don’t do shit for my birthdays since it’s always been the 1st day of school growing up and was always over shadowed by other crap going on, so for the 1st time in a long as i can remember other than being a lil kid, I decided to do some thing for my birthday rather than go to work go ride and go home, like any other day. It was a nice turnout and the VIP row and bottle added a nice touch to the night, I appreciate all those that rolled through whether for my Birthday or jsut for Groove Candy.
