Time to get my paparazzi on! – Updated

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7

So after Sea World destroyed my perfectly good Panasonic DMC FX-7,  I had to resort to using some POS Sanyo digital camera.

I found in a club sometime last year.  The battery was weak and would barley last a night out of sparse picture taking.

I knew it wasn’t gonna tide me over till the new DMC-ZS3A gets released.

So after a few weeks of lacking a camera, I finally broke down , so at least i’d have something for this upcoming trip to San Diego with the club.  So alas I started hunting down a suitable replacement, without having to shell out a grip of cash. Luckily the DZ found out the price dropped on the latest versions available.

So  a few clicks and 2 days later I’m rockin out with my new gear. Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5A 9.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.

I’ve already gone through most of the features and I’m loving it, unfortunately, due to a friends being in the hospital I haven’t really gotten a chance to fully test drive it.  The only drawback is the camera came with 8GB SDHC, and the card reader I have only appears to SD cards up to 2gGB.  Regardless I’m sure this camera will live up to the precedence that my old Fx-7 so faithfull provided.

So as I worte this up at work I decided to head across the street to an unused office complex that I’d used before for some impromptu photo sessions and decided to take the TZ for a spin, though I knew I wouldn’t be able to upload the pics and really get a good look at them till after I got home from work as well as bike night, thus the 2a, update.

Okay so I really didn’t get home at 2a, but i had a Outkast craving that I had to resolve, needless to say here are the 1st published pics with the new camera. Some tweaking needs to be done when taking the pics, like setting the back light and color effect, which is always situational, but other than that it’s all lovely.
