Hmm spent another weekend in SV again after going out in Tucson with my brother and his sister. All I can say is Tucson is losing much credibility for decent clubs. We ended going to the same club we went to before, but now under a new name and new structure. Now granted the scenery was better, the drinks were expensive, and they stared to play the “get the hell out” music at 12:20, and to top that they played John Denver as part of it. Can we say, that club would have had a riot on their hands if they tried to pull that kinda stunt in Phx. I’ve played some pretty lame get out music like “Rock the Boat” by Hues Corporation, or something off the wall, but not until closer to 1am.  Anyway the club overall sucked, at least that night it did.

I finally met my brothers sisters who, I have to say is pretty kewl, we spent the last hr or so dogging on the Dj. yeah I know, I shouldn’t have done that being a Dj myself, but oh well, it’s not like I live there.

Sunday we did the family portrait deal, which u can peeps some of the pics on my other site. And the reason I don’t look 2 happy is cuz I was pissed at both my brothers, Raymond, cuz he said he was getting ready at 2 o’clock for the appointment at 3 and didn’t get out of the show until 3:35, and Lawrence for not showing up for the whole thing until after 3pm, even after we called him at noon and he said he was already on the road headed down. end result, my absolute completely fake smile. My mom was hella pissed but didn’t say anything, so I basically bitched about it for her *S*.

After the drama, I rolled by my old church to drop my cousin off, and decided to take a gander at the old stompin grounds, talk about changes. My main intention was to sneak up and surprise my old choir director, he wasn’t there so I just rolled home, and grabbed my gear to head back. This was at about 5:30pm, my intentions were to go by and see Heather, kick for a lil bit and be back in Phx, by at least 9 or 10pm. That didn’t quite happen, we ended up kickin like back and the day, and didn’t end up leaving to way past my intended time, but I have to say it was worth it. I’ve missed those times, when we would sit and talk like we did that night. Hey and I learned that holler is not just to yell, but in upper Appalachian regions of the south it’s the valley between 2 mountains or hills *LOL*.

So now I’m back in Phx, and have already gone and come home from work, and the hum drum of everyday life, isn’t it exciting.

Not really
