Chic Riders Canyon Lake Ride 1-26-08

Okay So Emily I guess met up with some other female riders and has been hangin with them for a minute out on her side of town, they’re called Chic Riders. Anyway She posted they were having a ride out to Tortilla Flats aka Canyon Lake this past weekend.

Figuring no one else would go since we just went the weekend prior, and some guy crashed that was riding with us. He’s okay and all but nonetheless most people I’ve none become apprehensive about going back to TTF right after an accident, but alas that theory was shot ta hell when not only Double Trouble but Cranberry (The littlest Terry); from 2 Wheel Motion rolled out. to greet Emily and the Chic Riders.

So much for being able to roll out without being a Road Captain hat, maybe next weekend when everyones watching the Super Bowl 🙂

Anyway after all the meet and greets we headed out to east on the 60 to meet up with Q and Molly, as well as some other riders meet the Chic Riders, and after a small fill up we heeded up the mountain, wondering who’s day it was gonna be.

Tone’s already explained that for the last 8 years every time he comes to Canyon on a bike someone crashes, and thinkin back on technically it’s happened with me as well. Though the 1st time it was simply a bike losing it’s footing on the dirt loped parking lot, but after that, every time I’ve gone someones gone down in some way shape or form.

And today it again happened to be a guy we just happened to pull into the group that we met at a gas station, unfortunately his fate was not as well as Rich’s from last week and ironically they had the same bike…take that back…used too!
