Well the last few days have kind of just flown by, On Friday I had my 2nd level tech interview, which I must say, I probably  sucked ass at, simply because for whatever reason, I’m always nervous in an interview. Not to mention the fact that I came in lil earlier than he expected and I saw my “track sheet”, well just based off the quick glimpse I aw, I noticed that in comparison to the others that were around it, there were a lot more green highlighted marks than others. Good you say? No, bad, these show times that for whatever reason I as “out” of compliance. The only good thing I could think of was if that was my entire track record for every day that I worked there, from the time I started. If that is the case then I really don’t mind, as I have greatly improved in most areas. I even managed to squeeze that little bit of self boosting into one of my responses, to an object I was faced with and had to overcome. He was a little confused on why being over 20 minutes per day on breaks was something hard to overcome, so I explained. The fact of the matter is most business were one works an 8hr day paid by the hour, you are entitled to 2 15 min breaks, except for my job, where that is cut down to 10 minutes. Now as many smokers no in 15 minutes one can smoke 2 cigarettes and still have about 2-3 minutes to make it back to wherever they need to be, and since I’ve been part of the workplace for longer than I really want to remember this is how it has always been done. So coming to work here and adjusting to 10 minute breaks versus 15 minute breaks, was to say the least a tedious task, for me at least.

I also went and saw the Minority Report that evening as well, and I most say, plot wise it is an excellent movie, normally I can tell how the end will come out before half way through the movie, and normally confirm that theory half way in. This movie however ever has so many twists and turns you really become lost and half way through, You will be sitting thinking one thing and 15 minutes later you’ll be , saying “What the #$%, if he didn’t…and she didn’t…then…who…how….ah damn didn’t see that one coming” . I highly recommend it, as well as the Bourne identity, which I saw last week. Ironically, The Bourne Identity has some great action sequences, but almost lacks in the plot area towards the end of the film. Whereas Minority Reports, is some what lacking in the action field but definitely makes up for it in the plot, and suspense area.

BTW it’s Saturday evening, okay technically Sunday morning, and I’ve just spent the day, being tired, I think it’s from the heat but then again it could be because Kid and Victoria(My other best friends daughter who still lives in SV) decides they were going to wake me up this morning at 8:00AM, mind you Minority report didn’t let out until 3:30 AM the evening before, thus putting me home at 4:00 AM and in bed by about 5:00 AM, all of course to be awaken in 3 hrs to go eat breakfast.

We had a small BBQ this afternoon, and spent the rest of the evening trying to find out what to do with the kids, and at the same finding something for the adults to do, which preferably involved alcoholic beverages. This of course failed, as Art had to take his father some food at the Hotel they were staying at as well as the fact, Mike was house sitting and wanted to stay on one end of the town, as well as Art wanted to stay on one end of the town as well, which happened to be directly opposite of Mikes. To make matters worse, Kid and Victoria couldn’t decide on one thing to do either, Kid was down to go watch “Lilo And Stitch” whereas Victoria, didn’t want to see, it now, because she wanted to see it with her mom. In the end we ended up renting “the animal” for the kids, and Tom and Liz rented Spy Games, which neither really watched as they both fell asleep within 30 minutes of it starting. So now here I sit recapping the weekend, I have no idea what’s going on tomorrow although Kim wanted me to give here a call some time this weekend since she couldn’t make the BBQ but did want to hang out at some point this weekend, I also have to manage to stop in and put a few hours of OT in at works as well. So far it sounds busy, lets just hope it’s not as busy as it sounds.
