Wow I’ve had a productive week at work here. too bad it had nothing to do with work. I got my VNC server back up and running, as well as learned how to remote in via terminal services. The yesterday I finally updated my website with some new pics, nothing big, but an update nonetheless. http://www.geocities.com/djmgyx/

And last night I finally waged war upon my video card/camera fiasco.

Of course, granted it MacGyver’d together I am now finally able to capture video from my ancient VHS-C camcorder onto my system, as well as I found I way to capture from my webcam as well.

Speaking of which that was an early accomplishment in the week (getting the webcam connected and broadcasting). Unfortunaltey I went and bought a new Creative cam that sux compared to the one I’m letting Tom use in his room. I’m going to try and hooked both up this weekend and see if i can stream both out at the same time, or capture from both at the same time. Of course this is not tentative, it never is, just if I happen to feel like doin it.

Hmm anything else, oh on the way to work as my friend Sean was trying to convince me to go work for Cox, I get called foe an interview at a place right down the road form the crib. So now I have to be up way early to go to this kinda prelimanry interview dealy at 9:30 AM. Arrgh, I don’t even set any of my alarms that early for days when I do need to get up early. But oh well hopefully they’ll want to hire me on permanatley instead of this temp business I’m doin now, even though in the end IF, and that’s a big IF, I get hired on, i’ll get free college classes. But right now I think I’d rather have stabilty to grow on than a big IF to try and bank on. Anyway here’s hoping i’ll get hired for more than $10 hr.
